The Gables is the oldest standing house in Middelburg. This beautiful Victorian house is situated in Groenkol. The large trees in this relaxed area offer a calming atmosphere for any business traveler or holiday goer. It is centrally located, close to shopping centres, schools and Middelburg Mall. This guesthouse comprises of eight rooms, of which two are self-catering units.
built in 1891
During the Boer-war, Mr. Louw was sent to India as a prisoner of war, and in his absence, the British invaded Middelburg.
